| THE VILLA:
Step outside this roomy villa and you'll encounter the most stunning views. In fact, you don't even have to go that far. The calm sea and rolling countryside can be seen from the villa's private grounds. And if you want to get even closer to nature it's only a short drive to any number of beaches, national parks and - of course - volcanoes. As you'll soon discover, there are very few attractions that aren't within easy reach. Interior: 3 bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms Casa Cobra is on one floor, offering large comfortable rooms with plenty of light. Like every room here, the three double bedrooms are tastefully-furnished. Better still, two are en-suite and the third has an adjacent shower room. A spacious lounge leads to a dining area with room enough for six guests and patio windows that open up onto the garden. The kitchen offers everything you'd need to cater for yourself, including a microwave and a washing machine. The villa also has its own laundry room. Traditional Canarian tiles add a homely touch to Casa Cobra. As you'd expect from a modern luxury villa, internet connectivity comes as standard. Exterior: private grounds, private pool One of the best things about Casa Cobra is its private swimming pool. This is encircled by Astroturf (so you don't burn your feet), sun loungers, a barbecue and patio furniture: everything you need to make the most of the perpetual sunshine. With its ubiquitous cacti and mature palms, the garden isn't overlooked. This allows complete privacy without spoiling your view of the surrounding countryside. The surrounding area Oasis de Nazaret is perfectly situated between the old capital, Teguise, and the beaches of Costa Teguise. Flanked by rugged cliffs, these beaches are a paradise for surfers, sunbathers and walkers alike. One of the island's most famous attractions is the Michelin-starred restaurant, LagOmar. Designed by Caesar Manrique as part of a residence for Omar Sharif (hence the name), its setting is jaw-droppingly dramatic. But if you're after more modest fare, the local social club offers reasonably-priced food as well as a takeaway service and live entertainment. Staying in Casa Cobra, you also have the advantage of being able to get to the Teguise Sunday market before all the tourist coaches arrive. The most famous market on the island, it's a bustling social event with some great local craft stalls (plus a liberal spread of tat!). Bear in mind that you're expected to haggle.
